People have started taking AEP, and electricity, for granted. We needed to remind them that it was more than just voltage and current but that AEP provides affordable, reliable, and accessible energy that powers people's lives.
So we created an awareness campaign centered around the idea that AEP was connected to your life, in ways that you may not even realize. It comprised of three TV spots featuring different aspects and activities in people's lives, cooking, music, and football. And after only a few months on the air, customer satisfaction was up and attitudes towards AEP increased 32%.
