What makes Georgia, different than Georgia? Good question.

When the GDEcD was looking for recommendations on how to differentiate between Georgia Tourism and Georgia Business Information, they consulted Engauge Digital. In the past, the two had been grouped together, making it difficult for the GDEcD to effectively communicate to each audience. Engauge Digital encouraged them to create a separate tourism website and develop campaigns that would support their efforts to increase tourism to and within the state of Georgia.

ExploreGeorgia.org was designed by Engauge to be a highly functional website that allowed visitors to gather information, plan their travel, and participate in all of the state's programs in one place. The addition of a monthly relationship marketing email program, and pay per click and display online advertising fueled the popularity of the campaign. Travelers were also impressed with the site's interactive travel planner (GaTE). Engauge also optimized the state's email messages for best performance, which resulted in an 80% lift in their click-through rate.
