This anti-icon colorfully represented the fact that germs are everywhere and that there's not much you can do about it — except take Airborne to help support your immune system. And represent he did, in all kinds of public places and familiar situations where germs might be spread. Everything from TV commercials and magazine ads to subway station takeovers and live appearances, the Airborne Germ Guy was there to remind people of the potential pitfalls of a weak immune system.
