In a recent study,
psychologists discovered that only 2.5% of college students are good at
multitasking. That’s right, just one in forty. They call them ‘supertaskers.’
Supertaskers can effectively divide their attention between multiple tasks
and, in some cases, significantly improve on those tasks while doing so.
Their brains function in unique ways. They defy modern theories of human
attention and performance. Their attention doesn’t seem to split like it
would when they take on additional tasks. In some cases, it appears to
become more focused.
